Hazardous Waste, Electronic and Tire Collection Day

Schuyler County is once again offering a countywide collection and recycling event to all Schuyler residents (excluding businesses).
The half day program is scheduled for Saturday, September 25th at the Schuyler County Highway Department in Watkins Glen. The event consists of collecting and properly disposing of household hazardous waste and the recycling of tires and electronics. The event is funded by a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation grant, the County and by the minimal fees charged to those dropping off tires and electronics (hazardous waste is free).
